Our achievements
Before E-sensIA was founded, we contributed to numerous innovative projects in industry and railways.
These experiences, based on solid expertise in artificial intelligence and computer vision, now form a concrete foundation for supporting our clients in their own challenges.
🔒 GDPR Compliance
The protection of personal data is an essential issue.
We have designed an automatic blurring system for license plates and faces to ensure that ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) devices comply with the GDPR.
This solution operates downstream of video streams, enabling:
- reliable and instant anonymization,
- simple integration into existing systems,
- and immediate compliance with European regulations.
🚌 Counting in public transportation
Urban mobility requires reliable tools to tailor services to travelers' needs.
With CIBEST, we have designed a smart counting solution integrated into Besançon's buses and trams.
This technology allows:
- to count passengers in real time,
- to specifically identify bicycles, strollers, and wheelchairs,
- and optimize the interior layout and operation of vehicles.
The result: better service quality for users and more efficient operations for the operator.
🏭 Prevention of collisions between forklifts and pedestrians
In industrial environments, the coexistence of pedestrians and industrial trucks is a source of constant risk.
We have developed a computer vision solution capable of detecting dangerous situations in real time.
Specifically, the system identifies:
- the simultaneous presence of a forklift and a pedestrian,
- their probable trajectory,
- and triggers an alert in the event of an imminent collision risk.
This innovation helps to improve site safety and protect operators on a daily basis.
🚦 Level crossing monitoring
Railway safety depends largely on the proper functioning of equipment installed at level crossings: barriers, traffic lights, and audible warning devices.
As part of a consortium, we participated in the design of an AI-based smart monitoring solution.
Our role was to develop algorithms capable of automatically detecting the status of equipment in real time. Thanks to this technology, it is now possible to:
- remotely check the operation of installations,
- to quickly trigger alerts in the event of a failure,
- and improve the overall reliability of the rail network.
🔧 Detection of anomalies on track equipment
Track equipment (such as switches) are critical components of the railway network.
For a client, we conducted a research project aimed at analyzing the power signals of track equipment motors in order to detect anomalies.
Through data analysis and advanced AI models, this approach enables:
- anticipate failures before they occur,
- to reduce service interruptions,
- and strengthen predictive maintenance.
